She was predeceased by: her son Charles (Chuck); and her parents, Marie Judnich and Edward Judnich. She is survived by: her husband Robert; her sons, Michael, Donald and Gregory; her daughters-in-law, Angie, Cheryl and Cathy; her grandchildren, Corey, Jason, Matthew, Alexander, Marie and Benjamin; her nephew Stephen McGovern; and her nieces, Christine Smallcomb and Frances Hofer.
She had several lifelong friends from St. John's that gathered regularly for lunches until the pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the Simon family asks that people inclined to make a donation in Virginia's honor to Holy Angels School's scholarship fund.
