He is survived by: his wife Claudia Nelson; his brother-in-law Lance Fraizer; and his children, Frank Nelson IV, Elizabeth Oakes (Alex), Christine Thibodeaux (Mike), Julie Davidson (Vern) and Ethel Nelson. He is also survived by his four children and their families, plus many friends.
