It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dixie Rosene of Chico, California, born in Nashua, Iowa, who passed away on December 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her husband Vern Rosene; parents, Roy Laughery and Elsie Whitson Laughery; and her siblings, Virginia Reise, Darlene Benton, Wayne Laughery and Larry Laughery.

She is survived by : her sons, Norm (Janice Rosene), Tim (De De Rosene) and Lars (Joni Rosene); her grandchildren, Charlie Linnell, Joe Hagen, Remington Walker and Maci Rosene; and her great grandchildren, Saylor, Leo and Hagen Linnell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

“I was saddened to hear that Dixie passed away, and I have many fond memories of her. She was a lovely, gracious lady who was always a joy to visit with. Her husband, Vern, was my insurance agent for years, and I had many interactions with both of them. Dixie lived a wonderful full life and left many beautiful memories with her family and friends. I'm sending heartfelt sympathy to her sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.”
