He was predeceased by: his wife Laura Stull; his parents, Sue Lorena Stull and Charles Stull; and his sister Helen. He is survived by: his children, Sue Burnett (Tony) of Lake Havasu, Arizona, Karen Snowden (Bill) of Redding and Mike Stull (Pam) of Yucaipa; and his siblings, Don, Lulubelle (Belle) and Carolyn. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

For his contributions to the industry, he received the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Charles Taylor Master Mechanic Award which recognizes the lifetime accomplishments of senior mechanics who have more than 50 years' experience in the field.
