He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Mendoza and Maria of Jesus Gomez; and his son Joseph Stephen Mendoza. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Mendoza; his children, Carlota Paredes (Eustacio) and Raymond Mendoza (Yohanna); and his grandchildren, Ramon E. Paredes, Gloria Salgado (Francisco) and Melody Jimenez (Antonio). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
