It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Carey (Berkeley, California), born in Jefferson, Colorado, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Edmond Carey and Lena Mary Strother Carey; and her siblings, Daniel Carey, Robert Carey, John Day, Laura Boyd and Thelma Winston Alice Carey.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Carey (Debbie), Paul Carey (Bessie), Pete Carey, Richard Carey, Phillip Anderson, Jon Velazquez (Rachel), Tyna Carey and Rosilynd Creamer; and her siblings, Charles Carey, Cathy Johnson, Virginia Taylor, Lynn Carey and Linda Williams. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great great grandson.
