He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Talamantes and Eloisa Talamantes; his parents-in-law, Carl and Veta McCown; his sister Vera Eggman; his siblings-in-law, Dolores Soles, Janice Talamantes, Carlos McCown and Ray Eggman; and his nephew Tony Valdivia.
He is survived by: his wife Carlene "Veta" Talamantes of Benicia; his children, Teresa Talamantes (Debbie Taylor) of Brentwood, Vic Talamantes of Calistoga and Mike Talamantes of Benicia; his grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) of Redmond, OR, Lindsay (Bill) of Sentinel Butte, ND, Heather of Cottage Grove, OR, Amber of Cottage Grove, OR, Stephen of Benicia and Allysa of Benicia; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Paisley, Tellan, Billie and Baylee; his siblings, Stella Valdivia, John and Fred Talamantes; and his brothers-in-law, Don McCown and John Valdivia. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews and Godchildren.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the Benicia High School Athletic Program or the charity of the donor's choice.
