He was predeceased by: his parents, Sye Hawley and Mable Hawley; his significant other Freddie Clarsey Berry; his daughter Lydia Taylor; and his siblings, Lester, Edward, Albert, Douglas, Verne, Alton, Coy and Doretha.
He is survived by: his son Cameron Hawley; his sister Gladys Jackson of Gladewater, Texas; his grandchildren, Briauna Taylor, Alecha Taylor, Cameron Hawley (Kim), Raymond Hawley and Blake Hawley; his son-in-law Kevin Taylor; and his brother-in-law Baker Berry of Houston, Texas.. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, former students, friends and his spiritual brothers and sisters.
