It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Derrick Blake Nelson (Arroyo Grande, California), who passed away on January 17, 2024, at the age of 42, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Blake Nelson and Joy Simmons; his stepparents, George Simmons and Kim Nelson; and his brother Tyler Nelson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
