It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Pete Dan Kountanis of Antioch, California, born in Gooding, Idaho, who passed away on March 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dionysios Kountanis and Efthemia Kountanis; his wife Stella; his children, Mary Bales and Pete Triando Kountanis; his son-in-law Peter Bales; his granddaughters, Nicole and Samantha; his nieces and nephews, Kosta, Maria, Danny, Sandy, Kim, Matthew and Andrew; and his siblings, Bill Kountanis, Fay Vouyioukas and Theodora Barmore.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to a favorite charity.
