She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Barnes; her grandson Daniel Barnes; and her great grandchild Jesse Barnes. She is survived by: her children, Doyle Thornton, Fred Thornton, Regina Arthur, Dan Barnes, Bob Barnes, Brian Barnes and Tisha Brown. She is also survived by her children as well as numerous Grandchildren and even several Great Grandchildren.

Due to Covid restrictions, limited Rememberance services will be held at Higgins Funeral home on Monday May 10 from 10:30-11:30 am.
