He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen May Slaughter and Albert Jackson Willis; his wife Sarah; his daughter Susan; and his brothers, Bill and Hugh.
He is survived by: his daughters, Elizabeth (Jerry), Helen (Harry) and Kathryn (Pat). He is also survived by eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as his nieces and nephews.
