He is survived by: his children, David Scheid (Cynthia) of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Julie Meyers of Boca Raton, Florida, Diane McKinney of Hawthorne, California, Kay Shaver (Mike) of Eugene and Jeffrey Blair (Michelle) of Chandler; his brother Leland Scheid (Monna) of Nevada, Iowa; his sister-in-law Roberta Scheid of Montour; his sister Mary Laird of Creston; and also Joel Lewis. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
