He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Heywood and Margaret Smurthwaite Heywood; and his siblings, Josephine, Alfred and Carol.
He is survived by: his wife Carma Smith; his sister Barbara Price; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Heywood, Alene Kenney, Lue Janes and Wanda Brown; and his children, Karen Miskin (Rod), Leland (Carolyn), Lawrence (Sherrie), Shelle (Jimmy Dillenburg), Kim Thomas (Robert), Ricky (Shana) and Robert. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren, and soon to be 20 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to LDS Philanthropies Humanitarian Services.
