It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Lee Sowney of Sun Lakes, Arizona, born in Seattle, Washington, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael Shontz and Elvera Shontz; and her brother Michael Shontz. She is survived by: her husband Edward J. Sowney; her daughter Robin A. Lynn (Robert); and her grandsons, Robert E. Lynn and Matthew W. Lynn. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ALS Foundation, in Karen's memory.
