He was predeceased by: his son Randy. He is survived by: his parents, Abraham Friedman and Frances Friedman; his children, Jeff (Debbie) and Amy; his grandchildren, Randi, Jodi, Casey and Jordan; and his great grandchildren, Miles and Maverick.
Donations can be made in his memory, to Neighbors Who Care, an organization that helps other seniors and shut-ins and for whom Bert was an active volunteer.
