He is survived by: his wife Twala; his children, Justin, CeCe Womack, Keith Womack, Erin and Tracy Womack-Sycks; his grandchildren, David, Tianna, Yuna, Crystal, Sonya and Dakota; and his siblings, Darrell (Robbin Womack) and Kathy (Randy Bradford).

“Twala and family, My sincerest sorrow for the loss of Dave both as a husband and to your son and daughter. It is nearly impossible to fathom he is gone. You and I attended classes together and Dave worked with me and Barb Townsend for several years in Greeley Hall. His intellect and no non-sense attitude made the difference every day. He was instrumental in getting through the daily grind of what needed to get done because it was the right thing to do. My prayers are with you.”
