Dudley Wayne Wood, 93, of Sierra Vista, AZ died February 5, 2023. “Wayne” Wood, son of Ethel Beyer, loving husband of Thuy Wood, passed away on February 5th at his home surrounded by his family.

Wayne was born in Holmesville, Nebraska, graduated from Beatrice Senior High School, and served in the Air Force during World War II (participating in the Berlin Airlift). He retired from TWA Airlines after many years as a lead inspector. Wayne enjoyed being an instructor and piloting his PA-12 airplane, which he rebuilt. He loved traveling, watching the news, reading history books, and looking at stars. He also enjoyed RVing, music, and carving.

Wayne is preceded in death by his mother Ethel (Hooten) Beyer, his first wife Nadine S. (Conrad), and Son-in-law Edward A. Cordonier. Wayne is survived by his second wife Thuy (Nguyen) and her son Dai Vo; his three children Michael W. Wood; Catherine L. Cordonier, Alicia A. (Kent) Parrett from his first wife, Nadine. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
