She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lovell and Jessie Lovell; her siblings, James Lovell and Geraldine Lovell Guffey; her former husband Paul S High; her daughter Lynda Sue High Brown (Edward Ray Brown); and her grandson Billy Thornton.

She is survived by: her brothers, Gene Lovell and Tommy Lovell; her husband Darrell May; her sons, Paul Michael High (Debbie Mustain High) and Larry Dean High; and her grandchildren, James Brown (Amanda), Paul Brown (Tricia), Shelly Henning, Charity Brown, Tommy High (Lindsay), Jimmy High, Rebekah Howe (Justin), Susannah Dornan (Jimmy), Tina Denny, Sammy High (Molly) and Rocky High (Tianna). She is also survived by his two daughters, and his two grandsons.
