She was predeceased by: her sisters, Mary Ann Mangan and Dinah Gorrell; her former husband John M. McRae, Jr.; her son Chip McRae; and her stepson Tommy Kerr.

She is survived by: her caregiver Carmen; her husband Thomas R. Kerr; her sisters, Ellie Fleet and Carol Babson; her daughters, Lisa McRae (Howard) and Katie Crenshaw (John); her daughter-in-law Sandy McRae; her stepchildren, John Kerr (Victoria), Janice Kerr, Scott Kerr (Teena) and Karin Kerr (Michael); her grandchildren, Brennan, Adam, John Murrell IV, Austin, Sophie, John Walker and Kathryn; her stepgrandchildren, Jessica, Erik, Amy, Max, Kyle and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Jane, June, Winona, Toby and Ari. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
