He was predeceased by: his grandfather Kenneth Johnson. He is survived by: his parents, Chris Byrd and Cassandra Thompson; his siblings, Jenna and Lauren; his grandmothers, Laurie Johnson and Corazon Byrd; his stepfather Justin Thompson; and his stepsister Isabella (Tina Padilla). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
