He was predeceased by: his parents, Madelane Riley and Larry Cooney; and his siblings, Debby Cooney and Marc Cooney. He is survived by: his wife June; his daughters, Catherine Rodgers and Allison Cooney (Gord Gauvin); and his stepdaughters, Kathy Nash (Tyson) and Jenny Wood (Carolyn Fewer). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
