He is survived by: his wife DeEtta Onken; his sons, Michael Amend (Constance) of Rio Verde, AZ and Russell Amend (Michelle) of South Riding, VA.; his grandchildren, Madeline Ro (Nick), Delanie and Nicholas Amend; his sisters-in-law, Evelyn Bamesberger and Rachel Scott; his nieces, Joni Kay Havens and Betty Lundquist; his sister Joan Lundquist; his brother-in-law Homer Lundquist; and his nephews, Richard and David Lundquist. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
