She is survived by: her parents, Evangelina Urquijo-Mares (Joseph Mares) and Antonio Lucero (Michele Lucero); her husband Martin Vazquez; her children, Adrian, Jessica, Vanessa and Elisa; her grandmother Evangelina Serrano Urquijo; and her sister Melva Lucero-Rivas (Ernesto Rivas). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and great niece.
