He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyman Byron Sergeant and Ferne F Jacoba Sergeant; and his brother-in-law David Black. He is survived by: his sons, Alan and Jeff; his wife Maureen Rita Blackford; and his brother Jeff (Connie).
