“Jenifer and Family, It is with a profound sense of loss and sadness that I pen this note to you. As you may know, I grew up with Gene in the Safford school system, served our LDS missions from '73-'75, had great memories in the Safford Fire Dept. as well as many hunting trips, mostly varmint calling. Gene is the type and caliber of man that just doesn't come around very often. He had so many admirable qualities and traits that made it so easy to call him a friend. Bill Worden”
