He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow J Brown and Mary Lofgreen Brown; his wife Phyllis Ruth Wingfield; his siblings, Marc and Roselyn (Ray Ferguson); and his nephew Tony Ferguson.
He is survived by: his sister Loraina Simmons; his nieces and nephews, Debbie Noland (Rusty), Raina Bennett (Ben), Michael Simmons, Eric Simmons (Holly), Jared Simmons (Heeyun) and Marc Ferguson; his children, Linda Lee and Danny Blain; and his grandchildren, Lonnie Phillips, Michael Scott Phillips (Candy), Corey Blain (Cathey), Jeremy Blain (Michele), Daren Blain, David Blain and Lacey Blain (Gus Edwards). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.
