With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernardo Vega Jr. of Safford, Arizona, born in Morenci, Arizona, who passed away on July 27, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernardo Vega and Gumesinda Bejarano; and his siblings, Pauline Sanchez, Jose, Ladislao and Rodolfo.

He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Vega; his children, Bernardo Vega III, Mary (Eddie) and Linda (Jaime); his grandchildren, Gabriella (Heriberto), Lorena, Antonio, Andrew, Jamie, Diego, Nathaniel and Gisella; his pet Nogi; and his brother Domingo.

He donated his time and skills to the Catholic Church, making pieces commissioned by the father.
