He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bowie and Mary Bowie; and his brothers, Arden Bowie and Brian Bowie. He is survived by: his wife Judith Brummett-Bowie; his daughters, Jennifer Bowie-Vencill and Leigh Holmes (Dustin); his stepsons, Eric Boyd (Suze) and Thurman Pierce; his grandchildren, Nichole Newton and Kyle Vencill; and his stepgrandchildren, Jesse Boyd, Azaiza Boyd and Zara Boyd. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
