He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Cartmell and Martha Cartmell (Junge); and his brother Harvey "Bud" Herman Cartmell. He is survived by: his wife Vivian (Grim); his children, Ralph H. Cartmell (Gaby) of Pearce, David W. Cartmell of Pearce, Martha E. Cartmell of Pearce, Don M. Cartmell of Pearce and Bruce M. Cartmell of Pearce; and his grandson Ralph A. Cartmell of Pearce.
