She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Ortega Alcantar and Maria Lopez Covarrubias; and her brother Francisco Ortega. She is survived by: her husband Joe C. Garza; her children, Francisco Roberto Ortega, Juan Rene Sainz, Antonio Sainz, Perla A. Garza and JoAnna L. Medina; and her siblings, Guadalupe Antonio Ortega and Maria De Los Angeles. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
