He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Buckingham and Eva Buckingham; his brothers, Lloyd Buckingham of WIllard, OH, Paul Buckingham of WIllard, OH and James Buckingham of Newport News, VA; and his children, Daniel Buckingham and Cynthia Bruner of Mesa, AZ..

He is survived by: his wife Karen Buckingham of Mesa, AZ.; his sister Karen Fichtelman of Sunbury, OH; his sons, Richard Buckingham (Gwen) and Joe Buckingham (Patty) of Mesa, AZ; his daughter-in-law Jeannie Buckingham of Mesa, AZ; and his stepdaughters, Jackie Kenner and Katie Rezek of Queen Creek, AZ. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
