Betty Joan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Allen and Edith Marie Barnes; her former husband Willard E. Forbes; and her sons, John Forbes and Dan Forbes.

She is survived by: her brothers, Loy Barnes and Jim Barnes; her son Tom Forbes (Heather Forbes); and her daughters-in-law, Dede Forbes and Sharon Johnson. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers or other offerings, the family is requesting that donations be made to the West Clinical Team of Hospice of the Valley (HOV) to support their patient care needs. There are three options to make donations.
