She was predeceased by: her children, Michael Gaines and Kitty Taylor. She is survived by: her daughters, Phyllis Ellis (John) and Becky Sorensen (Scott); and her grandchildren, Rhett (Marie), Wade (Carolyn), Casey, Courtney (Grant), Danica and Dalton.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the ALS Association or MDA in her name.
