She is survived by: her husband Edward Louis Karges; her children, Dennis (Roxanne Weech), Kenneth (Debbie Gibbons), Douglas (Frankie Hatch) and Mari Smithson (Bryan); and her siblings, Christine Smith (Hal) and Milton Turley (Shirlene Payne).
