He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carole Escajeda; his siblings, Ruben Jr., John and Rosemary; his parents, Ruben Escajeda and Leonor Escajeda; his former wife Margaret; his daughters, Annette Koziol of Brunswick, ME, Yvonne Fox of San Jose, CA and Karina Escajeda of Kents Hill, ME; and his stepchildren, Beverly White of Eagleville, PA and Christopher Walker. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
He contributed to many charities and philanthropic initiatives, as evidenced by the many requests for donations that arrive on a daily basis.
