She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Jesse and Lucy Alberta Collett Laney; her husband Max J. Rapier, Sr.; her son Max J. Rapier Jr.; her sisters, Alberta Inez Laney and Marjory Ellen Reynolds Hodges; and her grandchildren, Leslie Kip Rapier and Timothy Paul Rivers, Jr. (Verna).
She is survived by: her son Wayne Rapier (Sherri); and her brother John Laney (Elizabeth). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
