He is survived by: his children, Elia Montoya (Luis), Toby Ortega (Esther), Anthony Ortega (Terri), Paul Ortega (Janet), Mary Ann Provencio (Chino), Trish Zimpfer (Uncle Chad) and Peter Ortega (JoAnn); his siblings, Elida Figueroa, Dario Ortega, Jr., Rosie Ruiz and Miguel Ortega; and his pet Princess Chili. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren.
