Sally Maahs Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 26, 2022, at the age of 72, Sally Maahs (Chandler, Arizona) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elgardt "Bud" Maahs and Georgianne Maahs (LaSure); and her sisters, Susan Allen (Michael) and Betsy Rix (Glenn). She is survived by: her sons, Scott Kwaterski (Danielle) and Stephen Kwaterski (Laura); her grandchildren, Silas Kwaterski, Sam Kwaterski, Emma Kwaterski and Hannah Kwaterski; her brothers-in-law, Michael Allen and Glenn Rix (Jeanne); her niece Kathryn Allen; her nephew Jonathan Rix (Taylor); the father of her children Edmund, Jr.; and her friends, Barb and Joe Baemmert. She is also survived by family, and other dear friends.

In recognition of the excellent care that Sally received at Chandler Regional Medical Center following her diagnosis with lung cancer, memorial donations can be made in her name for cancer research to Dignity Health Foundation - East Valley.
