She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Serbousek and Alice Serbousek (Houser); her husband Elmer Smith; and her sisters, Agnes and Georgiena.
She is survived by: her children, Marcia Gaertnier, Patty Mayer, Carl (Kate O'Mara), Kelly (Chris), Sarita Wardlow (Michael) and Susan Sullivan; and her sister LaVerne Leonard. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren.
