Margie Irene Jones Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Irene Jones of Chandler, Arizona, born in Bluford, Illinois, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Holloway and Cora Holloway (McConnaughay); her husband James Wesley Jones; her daughter Victoria McDaniel; her siblings, Arthur "Carrol" Holloway and Joyce Smith; her grandchildren, Jimmy Phelps Jr. and Dawn Greiser; and her great grandchild Macy Lynn Phelps.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Phelps of Camdenton, MO, Ted Phelps (Jane) of Pensacola Beach, FL, Steven Dunbar (Shelly) of San Diego, CA, Jami Harre (Rick) of Nashville, IL and Melissa Jones (Raul Garza) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
