He was predeceased by: his son John Starrett; his parents, Russell and Dorothy; and his brother Danny Starrett. He is survived by: his wife Dianne "Dee" Darras; his son David Starrett (Monica) of Phoenix, AZ; his grandchildren, Savana, Ian and McKenna; and his siblings, Dick Starrett (Pat) of Mountain View, CA and Elaine Starrett of Palm Springs, CA. He is also survived by several in-laws and many nieces and nephews.
