She was predeceased by: her father Lloyd Brown; and her sister Pamela Brown. She is survived by: her husband Adewale Adeyemi; her children, Akintunde Adeyemi (Emily) and Ayodele Adeyemi; her grandchild Saige Adeyemi; her mother Ava Lee Stapleton; and her siblings, Lloyd Brown, Floyd Brown, Boyd Brown and Avalon Peevy.
