He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard M. Wilson and Marjorie L. Jones; and his sister Martha Dipiero. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn J. Wilson; and his children, Andrea Walton, April Ricciardo and Chad Wilson. He is also survived by his three grandchildren.
