She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ivan Miller and Mable Miller; her husband Walter Conkey; her grandson Christopher Rice; her children, Peggy Helminiak (Jamie), Robin Rice, Jeri Burns (Richard) and Brian Conkey; and her sister Jane Miller. She was also cherished by eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Avondale Baptist Church.
