He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Shears and Maxim Shears. He is survived by: his wife Carol; and his children, Jade, Tracy, Jeffrey, Brian and Matthew. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren; his five great grandchildren; as well as his brother and two sisters.
