He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Billy Frank, Wanda Smith, Coy and Lori Gilley; and his uncles, Billy Smith, Jr. and Michael Gilley.

He is survived by: his parents, Kenneth Gilley and Christie Smith Gilley; his sisters, Amie Cotter (Brett) and Lindsey Goodwin (Chris); and his nieces, Taylor Cotter, Kennedy Agee and Jordyn Belle Cotter.
