He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray McClain and Fannie Pearl Payne; and his brothers, Dennis McClain, Steve McClain and Jim McClain.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Stricklin McClain; his children, Michelle Smith (James) of Cherry Valley and Michael McClain (Sabrina) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Rachel Summers, Alexis-Kay Gahr, Ashley Smith, Dakota Gahr and Logan McClain; and his great grandchildren, Wesley Summers, Gunner Summers and Remi Summers.
Those wishing to send memorials are asked to consider the Booster Club at Cross County High School.
