He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pinckney Bethell and Eloise Dailey Bethell; and his brother Clyde Bethell of Des Arc. He is survived by: his wife Louise Snow Bethell of Wynne; his children, Lisa Simmons (David) of Greenbrier, Bob Bethell (Robin) of Wynne and Amy Keith (Kent) of Fayetteville; his siblings, Dr. John Bethell (Margaret Ann) of Little Rock and Ann Guess (Donald) of Des Arc; and his grandchildren, Dailey Bethell (Amelia), Jacob Bethell, Riley Bethell, Anna Claire Bethell, Savannah Simmons, Madeline Simmons, Olivia Keith and Sawyer Keith. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
