He is survived by: his wife Joanna Gahr; his children, Phillip Nelson Gahr of Wynne and Jessica Lyle Gahr of Pittsburg; his sisters, Martha Baldwin of Wynne and Debbie Thomas (Ken) of Wynne; and his nephew Jason Gahr (Heather) of Wynne.
